Easy Online Switch Kit
5 Easy Steps to a New Checking Account
STEP 1: Choose Your Checking Account
All ViewPoint Bank checking accounts come with unlimited free use of ViewPoint Bank's online banking, over 60 ATMs, free check images, free online statements and free e-mail alerts. Open your account online or visit one of our locations.
STEP 2: Break Away From Your Old Account
Don't write any more checks and be sure that all your outstanding checks, payments and debit transactions have cleared your old account. Now comes the fun part! Shred checks, deposit slips and receipts you won't need for taxes.
STEP 3: Redirect Your Direct Deposits
Print the Direct Deposit form, fill in the requested information and give copies of it to your employer and anyone else who regularly deposits money into your account. Include a deposit slip or a voided check from your new ViewPoint Bank account.
|You'll be able to monitor deposits to your ViewPoint account using Online Banking. Just log onto www.viewpointbank.com and within the "Log-On to Online Banking" box just click on "First time user? Register Here". Follow the simple directions to get started.|
STEP 4: Redirect Your Payments
Use this form to notify anyone who received a payment or withdrawal from your account. You'll still have the convenience of online bill payment with ViewPoint Bank's Bill Pay.
STEP 5: Say Goodbye To Your Old Bank
Here's a form you can send to let your old bank know you're breaking up with them. If there's any money left in your old account, they'll send you a check! See, we told you it was easy!
