Login Security (Expanded security options for Online Banking.)

Beginning mid-June, you’ll be able to take advantage of our expanded Login Security, which gives you the option of using a temporary access code in addition to your username and password each time you log in to your Online Banking account. (Setting up Login Security will also allow you to instantly reset a password if you ever forget yours.)

Setting up your security options

Step one:
After you log in to Online Banking, the Login Security screen will appear. To begin set up—and continue on to Online Banking—click on the “QA-Having Trouble” box.

Note: You only need to set up Login Security once.

Step two: Answer the security question you used when you set up Online Banking.

Step three: If you want the additional temporary access code security option set up on your computer, click “No.” If you want to go directly to your Online Banking account, click “Yes.”

STEP THREE: If you want the additional temporary access code security option set up on your computer, click No.

Step four: If you choose to add extra security to your computer, we need to know how you want your temporary access code to be sent: by text, email or phone. Set up your preferred methods of contact. You will also have the option of setting up additional security questions. Once you have completed the form, press "Continue." You can then access your accounts.

STEP FOUR: We need to know where you want your temporary access code to be sent: by text, email or phone. Set up your preferred methods of contact and press Continue.

Going forward: If you declined additional security on that particular computer, your login will remain the same—just a username and password. However, if you log in from a different computer—or requested the extra security for your personal computer—you’ll be asked to enter a temporary access code as an additional line of defense to prevent unauthorized access. Just elect how you want to receive this access code, and we’ll provide it at the phone number or email you gave us at set up.

You can also edit your security settings under Preferences inside Online Banking. Just click on the "Login Security - Change Challenge Questions" link to update your settings.
