Digital Insight, ViewPoint Bank's internet partner, uses several layers of technology to prevent unauthorized individuals from gaining access to our internal network. Security professionals maintain a sophisticated architecture that includes screening routers, filtering routers and firewalls.

Digital Insight uses software that incorporates full RSA data encryption to ensure the security and privacy of transactions. This encryption technology is so secure that it is classified by the U.S. Department of Defense. Export of this technology to other countries is forbidden by law. As a further security measure, Digital Insight utilizes their Internet server as a firewall, preventing member data from being directly accessible over the Internet.

Security Tips

Your privacy and security is a top priority at ViewPoint Bank. We encourage you to follow some simple guidelines to add to the protection we have placed on your account.

1. Never reveal your password to others.
2. Take advantage of the case sensitive feature of our password program. Alternate upper and lower cases in your PaSsWoRd.
3. Change your password (in User Options) every 6 months.
4. Use the Sign Off option to end a session. Do not use the Back key.
5. Do not set your Timeout (in User Options) for too long a time frame.
6. Change your password whenever you delete a signer from your account.
7. Balance your accounts at a minimum of once a month so any discrepancies can be reported in a timely manner.
