ViewPoint Bank is committed to building strong and vibrant communities and dedicated to making a positive difference where we live and work. From teaching financial literacy in our public schools to supporting small businesses, ViewPoint Bank has a long tradition of giving back to its communities.
 

Here are a few highlights of ViewPoint Bank’s community involvement:

• Provided funding for Plano ISD’s AVID college-prep program and taught credit and financial education classes at Plano high schools and middle schools.
   
• Taught a series of financial literacy classes for children and adults at the Dalworth Recreation Center in Grand Prairie.

• Provided funding for KIPP: TRUTH Academy of Dallas, a college-preparatory public school that works with students as they enter the 5th grade. ViewPoint Bank professionals also participated in the school’s Career Day, sharing their experiences and stressing the importance of staying in school and graduating from college.

• Taught a Fraud Prevention Seminar to the residents of The Lennox House, a low-income housing apartment complex for seniors.
   
• Provided funding for the North Texas Food Bank and participated in their Volunteer Experience in which 17 ViewPoint Bank volunteers worked in their warehouse over a three-year period, sorting and boxing food to be distributed to member agencies and hungry North Texas families, seniors and children

• Once again served as Mainstage sponsor for the Richardson Wildflower Music & Art festival.

• Hosted free seminars on such topics as budgeting, money management,  foreclosure prevention, and fraud and identity theft prevention.
