ViewPoint Bank is committed giving back to the community. ViewPoint
Bank seeks to assist well-managed, non-profit organizations who
share our vision for a stronger community. We provide grants to
eligible non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on non-profit
organizations with 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt status and organizations in
our specific focus areas:
Education providing
educational and mentoring programs to children and adults, primarily
in low-to-
moderate income levels, which include everything from financial
literacy to support from cultural and arts
based programs that reflect the diversity of the community.
Community Development emphasis will be placed on
organizations, city-sponsored programs and
small businesses that are assisting in the revitalization of
low-to-moderate income neighborhoods to
create and sustain affordable housing.
Human Service providing assistance to individuals and
families for health education, quality health
care and those seeking independence.
Limitations
ViewPoint Bank does not make contributions
to support certain types of organizations, activities or purposes.
These include, by are not limited to the following:
Individuals
Programs of national scope that do not specifically benefit
our markets
International organizations
Fraternal, veteran or alumni organizations
Athletic teams or social groups
Public agencies including individual schools and school
districts
Private schools
Religious organizations
Political organizations
Parent Teacher Associations
Advertising, including ads in event, performance, or
athletic programs
Environmental causes
Animal causes
Volunteer-operated organizations
Application

ViewPoint Bank offers grant applications
online. Applications can be completed and emailed or submitted in
written form through regular mail.
Step One:
Thank you for your interest in
ViewPoint Banks grants making progress. Before applying, please
review the limitations list. If your proposal includes on of
these areas, your proposal will not be considered.
Step Two:
Answer the following questions. If you
answer no to the questions, your proposal will not be
considered:
1. Is your organization an IRS qualified charitable
organization or a public school?
2. Do you provide services in one of the following
counties?
Collin
Rockwell
Dallas
Denton
Tarrant

Three:
What is required?
A brief description outlining the
purpose of the program or project
Population and geography to be served
Program/project focus
Program/project budget
Program/project measurable objectives
Provide
the following documents:
Copy of the IRS determination letter
stating 501 (c) status
Current operating budget and principal funding sources
and levels
Organizations recent annual report if applicable
A list of the board members and their affiliations
In addition please include the
name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number of the
organization's contact person.
